We’re catching: Vermillion Snapper “Mingos”, Mahi, Kingfish, Triple tail, Mangrove Snapper, and Flounder; and there have been lots of them!
Triggerfish is now CLOSED in State and Federal Waters.
Typically, were bottom fishing for 3-4 hours then spending the remaining time searching for schools of Mahi or Mackerel. We’ve been finding a great amount of weed lines or floating debris from 3-8 miles off holding great numbers of chicken dolphin and triple tail. We’re already catching a few flounder in the Gulf which is a GREAT sign for this coming fall/winter flounder season. The mackerel have already showed back up for their fall run in full strength.
